Drain and rinse the sink to remove any lingering soap scum after washing is finished. When you can no longer detect any signs of detergent, gently rinse your bras with a stream of water or a mild spray. Take your time, since any detergent residue could irritate your skin. After rinsing, lightly squeeze your bras to get rid of the extra water. Be careful not to wring them out, as this might damage sensitive textiles and reduce flexibility. Your bras should be flattened with the cups facing up on a fresh towel and let air dry after being pressed between two towels to absorb any remaining moisture. You could also hang your bras up to dry, but never hang them by the straps or the back because that would cause stretching. Instead, fasten them such that the cups and straps hang down loosely from each side from the space between the two cups. It's time to go shopping now that you know how to properly hand-wash the next wonderful bra you find.
