When Purchasing Plus Size Bra, You'll Hear These 5 Lies

A limited number of businesses selling plus-size clothing can be found in shopping centers. Do you have any idea what the reason is? This is due to the fact that there is no market for larger apparel or bra for females, according to the information that we have received.

They are out of the question. We are both aware of it at this point.

There are five reasons why the stereotypes around plus size clothing need to be dispelled: no one wants to sell them, designers don't want to develop curvy clothing, and there isn't a market for women who will purchase it. None of these things are true.

1. No Sales: Fashion In Plus Sizes Is Not Marketable

That's correct—it doesn't sell. Who wants to spend money on clothes that don't fit well and make them feel and look ugly? The response is no, ladies. At all.

The issue is that a large portion of what we see in larger dress or bra sizes in stores and even online is ill-fitting, cheaply constructed, and unattractive. Put simply, producing larger pieces that are fitted to the same specifications as what the fashion industry considers "regular" size comes at a higher expense.

Not only is it problematic for women searching for stunning plus-size dresses, but when an original design is suited for larger ladies, every dart, seam, and pocket placement needs to be reevaluated. Women of all shapes and sizes are affected, especially small females whose clothing must be custom-made outside of standard measurements.

It's funny, plus-size and petite women are good customers for designers and merchants who cater to them. Women who don't conform to the imposed sizing norm don't accept the mainstream interpretation of a "standard" size. Instead, they choose full figure bra that truly fits and fashionable plus-size apparel that is tailored to them specifically.

2. Lack Of Interest: No One Wants To Look Well Who Is Over Size 16

If you assume that women who are larger in size are not interested in fashion, you are being a little bit misleading. In point of fact, Madeline Jones, editor of Plus Model, has disclosed that the fashion industry has not demonstrated any interest in them:

"Small bodies are still associated with health and status," according to Jones. Furthermore, even plus-size fashion designers such as Michael Kors and Calvin Klein are not interested in collaborating with us. However, I am certain that they would send a dress to Caitlyn Jenner on their behalf.

If women are unable to obtain high-quality plus-size clothing or large-size bras that are conveniently accessible, they will not even be able to celebrate their bodies effectively. A large number of women have expressed interest in doing so.

Full Figured Fashion Week has been welcoming women with larger frames who are interested in participating in and appreciating the world of fashion ever since it was established in this year, 2009. At the event that took place in 2015, participants flaunted their curves by wearing full skirts, went really creative with designs, and sparkled in sequins.

Curiosity is not lacking in this situation at all.

3. No Cash: Your Handbag Is Too Small

In the realm of fashion, only ladies who fall into the typical size range are believed to flaunt their wealth. Since the mainstream industry only accommodates this particular body shape, our calculation suggests that the equation is most likely accurate.

However, considering that the average Australian woman is approximately 71 kg and considered plus-size, the notion that any woman who purchases online for plus-size goods has little money to spend seems absurd. No one can be impoverished, can we?

Every aspect of the entertainment industry has well-rounded, well-known women who wear plus-sized red carpet dresses: Melissa McCarthy in comedy, Kathy Bates in cinema, and Adele in music. Not to be overlooked is Oprah, star of the talk show and one of the richest women on the planet.

These women are by no means alone in their struggles to obtain spare change for bra that fits a little better in size.

4. No Role Models: Then, Who Should We Admire?

Some who are pessimistic about larger women's role models may argue that the success and talent displayed by the persons on the list above are the exception rather than the rule. By the norms of the fashion industry, attractiveness is everything.

What do you think? Plus-size models are omnipresent, and not everyone is bothered by their size.

Twitter users were incensed that Robyn Lawley was referred to as such when it was revealed that she would be the first plus-size model to appear in Sports Illustrated: "Can I be stoked that Robyn Lawley is appearing in SI while being furious that this is what we consider 'plus size'?"

Monica Bielanko continued on Babble by stating: "Pretending that Robyn Lawley and her swimming suit line is plus-size is just as detrimental to the hearts and minds of women as the anorexic supermodel lauded as the standard of beauty."

We may certainly just admire women of all sizes.

5. No Resources: There Is No One Who Serves Plus Size

It's true that stores don't have endless rails and racks of clothing and underwear in larger sizes. If you're lucky, there may be a small assortment of haphazard items in a dusty area at the rear of the store; these are the inexpensive, ill-fitting plus-size clothing that we previously mentioned. However, there is a ton of amazing plus-size women's apparel available online.

It's only a matter of time until larger merchants realize they're losing out on all the revenues when all of the transactions take place elsewhere when so many women are in the same boat seeking for reasonably priced plus-size clothing that accentuates their curves and makes them feel beautiful.
